Choosing an executor can be practically and emotionally challenging.
· Must I name an executor? What if I name someone, but they decline to take on the role after I have passed away?
· What qualities should I look for in an executor?
· What if you have no heirs, how do I identify a professional to assist?
· Who holds an executor accountable for fulfilling my final wishes?
Two estate planning professionals and a Foxdale resident who has served as an executor will speak about topics such as: duties of an executor, selecting an executor, etc. Q&A will follow.
